Audio to video converter software for windows NLE (add more images, transitions, effects, etc): Davinci Resolve, Lightworks, VideoProc Vlogger, VSDC.Daily Megathread - No time like the present to learn a new hobby! - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago. What's some really useful software? Lightworks is a decent video editor, also great for a gaming video editing, though there are alternatives. It started out in 0.1 as an editor with the common workflow of filters and all that and then when the dev saw that it started to pick up he decided he would rewrite it from scratch to follow a more flexible approach, so in 0.2 he made the shift to node based. Open source, my beloved Olive video editor, it's the editor I used to make this video, it's really awesome! Now if you'll excuse me I have to praise it, I cannot contain myself.Open source, my beloved Olive video editor keep in mind it's still in alpha so it's bound to have some bugs/crashes and it won't have as many features, but if you don't do super complex editing it's a solid alternative already.Video editing frustration (any advice?) Olive 0.2 actually works ok for this and is reasonably performant. What about FLOSS Olive video editor? As for me, for a small 30-second clip.

For a small 30-second clip I like the more approachable, simple workflow of Kdenlive but holiday videos with a hundred or more cuts work much better with Davinci for me. DaVinci Resolve 18 > As a hobby videographer using Ubuntu I find myself switching between Kdenlive and Davinci Resolve, depending on the size and complexity of the project. Not sure how far along their feature set is. Looking at their site it seems they're in the middle of a rewrite. any recommendations ? I've used Olive in the past. looking for a free video editing software for simple tasks like crop, cut, trim, convert and merge.
